"The Trustees and Friends of Carshalton Water Tower and Historic Garden Trust were extremely pleased with the surveying and consultation process carried out by Archer Stone Restoration before the restoration of the Trust’s mid-eighteenth century Sham Bridge, which was carried out during May 2010. Their standard of workmanship in restoring this garden folly was very good and the way in which their assigned project manager listened and discussed the design detail and processes involved during the stages of restoration was greatly appreciated."
Company Secretary J. Knight
"The task undertaken by Archer Stone Restoration Ltd was a complete rebuild of the West wall of the church, and restoration of the tower at St Mark's Church, Reigate. The work was undertaken during the worst months of the very cold winter of 2009-10 by craftsmen who co-operated fully, keeping the site clean and tidy at all times and with minimum amount of fuss. The finished appearance is drawing compliments from all who understand the complexity of the work undertaken."
Stan Hatton, Churchwarden
"Brewer Jewel Architects has worked with Archer Stone Restoration on a variety of projects to historic and listed churches in Surrey over a fifteen year period. The type of work has been varied, and has included repairs to brick and stone tombs, repointing, limewashing, rendering, new stonework, both carved and ashlar work, and significant reconstruction of failing walls.
Archer's approach to work inspires confidence. Their knowledge and understanding of best conservation practice is backed up by excellent craftsmanship on site and pro-active management.
I have no hesitation in recommending this firm."
